COMPOSITION OF ACIDS AND THEIR ACTION
GLYCOLIC ACID (BEET )
It has the smallest molecular weight ( 76.0 Daltons). What allows it to easily penetrate all levels of the epidermis:
Dissolves dead particles of the upper layers of the skin then promotes their exfoliation, and also cleanses the pores of excess sebum and impurities.
At the level of the basal layer, thereby affecting the production of melanin and reducing age spots, freckles and lentigo.
At the level of the dermal layer, stimulates fibroblasts, as a result of which collagenogenesis occurs, the density and elasticity of the skin increases, and the depth of wrinkles decreases.
